YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Shaft Supervisor, you will be an integral part of the Shaft Sinking Department, supporting the Upper Beaver Gold project. Your role will involve ensuring that all goals and objectives are met while upholding Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and environmental standards. You will participate to the mining and construction activities with his crew.

Follow the daily planning done by the shaft Leader;

Operate shaft jumbo;

Operate vertical mucker (VSM);

Inspect and maintain Galloway and Equipping Deck;

Lower concrete form and pour concrete lining in the shaft;

Install services, steel sets, guides, and ventilation in the shaft;

Excavate shaft stations with conventional equipment, Jack legs, Stoppers, Crawler;

Operate and apply shotcrete in the shaft stations;

Reads and interprets construction drawings;

Ensures that the work areas, equipment, and work practices comply with the regulatory codes, statutes, and company requirements;

Communication-listen to and communicate with other, keep accurate records on 5 point card, aligning with daily tasks;

Liaises effectively with colleagues and managers regarding various work situations and the activities within the department;

All other duties as may be assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Shaft Sinking experience required, minimum 4 years

Ontario Secondary School Diploma required

Ontario common core

Teamwork and self-starting work ethic

WORK SCHEDULE: 7/7 or 14/14 schedule at our Upper Beaver mine site, located in Dobie, ON.

In accordance with applicable legislation, the expected compensation includes base salary and potential bonus opportunity. Your individual pay will reflect your skills and experience while remaining competitive within the local market.

Minimum Salary : $32.64CAD Maximum Salary : $87.64CAD
