We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook who is ready to take on a supervisory role and help lead our kitchen team. Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items to the highest quality standards.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring proper food handling and kitchen cleanliness.
- Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and maintains a smooth workflow.
- Monitor labor and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized kitchen environment.
- Handle customer special requests and dietary restrictions when necessary.
- Assist the kitchen manager in implementing new menu items and improving kitchen operations.
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed at all times.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a kitchen, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role preferred.
- Strong cooking and culinary skills, with knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to lead a team, provide clear direction, and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Weekend availability is a must.
- Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.50-$24.00 per hour
