Phil & Sebastian Coffee Roasters is a Calgary company with nine specialty cafés, a coffee roasterie, a donut production facility, and a wholesale coffee division serving offices, restaurants, bars, cafés, and other partners.
We are hiring for an Equipment Service Technician.
This role includes:

Servicing and maintaining our coffee and espresso equipment

Troubleshooting and repairing other equipment issues in our cafés, bakery, and production spaces

Managing our fleet of coffee equipment for wholesale customers, including service records and maintenance planning

Installing coffee and other equipment for new and existing wholesale customers, and for our own cafés
-
Responding to equipment emergencies

Managing inventory of parts, tools, and other service supplies
-
Creating and managing a preventative maintenance schedule for our in-café equipment
-
Occasionally building temporary bar setups for major events
We’re looking for someone with strong hands-on technical ability and broad practical experience. Experience servicing coffee and espresso equipment would be a major plus, but it is not required.
You should have experience in many of the following areas:

woodworking or fabrication
You should also be:

ability to learn new systems quickly

an excellent troubleshooter and problem solver

a strong communicator with a customer service mentality
Requirements:

Valid driver’s license

Your own reliable vehicle, for kilometre reimbursement

Good physical fitness, as this role involves some heavy lifting
This is a full-time role and includes some weekend, evening, and on-call work. We offer full-time hours, $65K / year compensation, and a great work environment.
