Restaurant Shift Supervisor & Server
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Shift Supervisor / Server to join our Front of House team. This hybrid role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on service, requiring the successful candidate to supervise shifts while also working regular serving and bartending shifts.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent hospitality skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Previous serving, bartending, and supervisory experience is required.
Availability Requirements

Must be available to workdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work a combination of supervisory, serving, and bartending shifts each week.

Key Responsibilities
Shift Supervisor Duties

Act as the Manager on Duty during assigned supervisory shifts.
- Manage service flow and ensure efficient restaurant operations.
- Support, coach and supervise Front of House team members.
- Address guest concerns and ensure exceptional guest experiences.
- Manage staff levels for assigned supervisory shift
- Ensure company policies, service standards, and health and safety procedures are followed.
Server/Bartender Duties

Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to guests.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with responsible service standards.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, beer offerings, cocktails, and promotions.
- Process guest payments and balance cash-outs accurately.
- Assist with opening, closing, and side duties as required.
Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of serving experience and or bartending experience
- Previous supervisory, leadership, lead server, or shift management experience an asset

Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to lead by example and motivate team members.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Experience in a high-volume restaurant environment.
Valid Responsible Beverage Service certification.
