The project: The Project Coordinator provides day‑to‑day coordination and project controls support to the Prime Consultant team, supporting the effective delivery of non‑design services throughout the construction and close‑out phases.
Working under the direction of the Project Leader / Project Manager, the Project Coordinator supports programme integration, contract administration processes, information management, reporting, and governance activities. The role is critical to ensuring that project controls are maintained, records are complete and auditable, and information flows effectively between the client, consultants, contractors, and third‑party stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
Support day‑to‑day coordination of Prime Consultant activities.
Assist with contract administration processes, including tracking RFIs, submittals, and correspondence.
Support programme controls by assisting with schedule updates, progress tracking, and reporting inputs.
Coordinate meetings, including agendas, minutes, and action tracking.
Support permitting, approvals, and third‑party interface tracking as directed.
Assist with document control and information management activities.
Support commissioning, handover, and close‑out coordination, including tracking of deficiencies and deliverables.
Prepare routine reports and dashboards for internal and client use.
Maintain and update project registers, including:
What You’ll need to have
Experience in a project coordination or project support role within construction or infrastructure delivery.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities concurrently.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Confidence working with contractors, consultants, and client teams.
Ability to operate within formal governance and reporting environments.
You’ll also have
Degree or diploma in construction management, engineering, project management, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Experience supporting public‑sector or regulated projects (preferred).
Familiarity with document control systems and structured reporting.
Strong proficiency in standard office and reporting tools.
A proactive, solutions‑focused approach to project support.
Note: The estimated salary for this position is 130,000-150,000 CAD. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
