Job Summary
The Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Operator- Order Picker is responsible for pulling products for customer and branch orders on/off of Material Handling Equipment.
Essential Job Functions *
- Pull stock for customer order from stock locations utilizing an RF scanner.
- Pulls bulk product using an MHE for the filling of customer and branch orders.
- Assembles orders at the expected order fill rate.
- Completes orders with weight and number of cartons and drops skids by the shipping area.
- Double checks materials for specified customers to minimize errors.
- Conducts stock checks.
- Fills in for other warehouse staff to reduce workload or meet the deadlines of the department.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Support and follow internal health and safety programs and protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education & Experience
- Secondary diploma or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years’ experience working in a distribution center.
Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Forklift certification is required – Order Picker preferred; Reach Truck is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 35 lbs frequently up to 70lbs infrequently
- Reliable and dependable team player.
- Being proficient with RF scanners and equipment is an asset.
Operational Equipment
We are targeting a pay rate of $17.93 to $20.75 an hour.
