We are seeking a detail-oriented Parts Person to manage inventory, source parts, and support daily service operations. The ideal candidate has experience in purchasing, inventory control, or dealership/manufacturing environments and can effectively support technicians and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage parts inventory using Fullbay and maintain accurate records
- Source and purchase parts while maintaining supplier relationships
- Add parts, pricing, and purchase information into Fullbay
- Create and update parts on work orders in Fullbay
- Assist technicians by identifying, sourcing, and supplying parts required for repairs
- Help technicians with shop tasks and repairs when workload permits
- Process purchase orders, inventory transactions, and data entry
- Ensure parts are available and delivered promptly to support shop productivity
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Experience in parts, purchasing, inventory, or supply chain roles
- Strong organizational and data entry skills
- Mechanical aptitude (heavy-duty, automotive, or manufacturing preferred)
- Experience with Fullbay or similar shop management software is an asset
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Forklift experience is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
This position requires a proactive individual who can support technicians, maintain accurate inventory records, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the shop.
Pay: $16.00-$25.00 per hour
