Industrial Audiometric Technician (Mobile)

In this role, you will travel to various worksites to perform hearing tests and ensure the health and safety of employees across a range of industries. You’ll have the freedom to work independently while representing our company with professionalism and exceptional customer service.
Our company is a dynamic and innovative business where future growth opportunities are available. We manufacture Custom-fit Hearing Protection, provide Mobile Industrial Hearing Testing, and conduct Occupational Noise Surveys.

- We will cover the 4-day Audiometric Technician course through BCIT for the right individual
- Flexible 25-40 hrs/week (some early mornings, and occasional evenings to cover client’s shift structures
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct onsite hearing tests and recommendations for hearing protection
- Coordinate on-site appointments with employers
- Safely operate and maintain the mobile unit
- Handle client inquiries and occasional in-office appointments
- Enter hearing test results into WorkSafe BC’s portal
- Light prospecting and follow-up with existing and new accounts
The ideal candidate for this position will exhibit:
- BCIT Industrial Audiometric Technician certification (preferred); we will sponsor the course for the right individual
- Valid BC Driver’s License with clean abstract
- Comfortable driving 20-22 ft commercial box vehicle
- Strong customer service skills and professional presence
- Enthusiastic mindset and eagerness to promote our products and services
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage your own schedule
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable with online portals
