We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Plumber to join our team. The Apprentice Plumber will work under the supervision of experienced plumbers, assisting with various plumbing tasks and learning essential skills necessary for success in this trade.
Duties
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform plumbing tasks efficiently.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand plumbing layouts.
- Help assemble and install HVAC systems as needed.
- Perform basic metalworking tasks related to plumbing installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members on various projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge with a strong interest in plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction or plumbing work.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints effectively.
- Previous experience as a carpenter or in a related field is a plus but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn from experienced professionals and take on new challenges.
- Must be physically capable of performing manual labor, including lifting heavy materials.
