Zen S.P.O.T is a multidisciplinary pediatric therapy practice serving children and families through a collaborative and functional approach to care. Our team works closely across disciplines to support children with a variety of developmental, sensory, motor, emotional, and functional needs.

Position Details
Position: Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Location: Peel and Halton Region (In clinic and In home)
Employment Type: Independent Contractor
Schedule: Flexible scheduling available
Start Date: Immediate or mutually agreed upon
Responsibilities
- Complete pediatric occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide evidence-informed intervention for children with developmental, sensory, motor, self-regulation, fine motor, visual motor, and functional participation challenges
- Collaborate closely with physiotherapists, speech-language pathologists, educators, support staff, and families
- Support children across home, clinic, school, and community environments as appropriate
- Educate caregivers and provide practical home strategies
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports
- Participate in interdisciplinary case discussions and collaborative treatment planning
Ideal Candidate

- Is creative, adaptable, and family-centered
- Enjoys movement-based, sensory, and play-based intervention approaches
- Has strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
Qualifications
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Professional liability insurance
- Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
- Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, developmental coordination challenges, sensory processing differences, emotional regulation, and neurodevelopmental conditions considered an asset
- Valid driver’s license and access to transportation considered an asset
