Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and seasoned Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role requires a strong understanding of food and beverage operations, excellent time management skills, and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately. The Bartender will be responsible for serving beverages responsibly while ensuring compliance with food safety standards and maintaining a clean, organized bar area. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely manner.
- Engage with guests to ensure a positive experience, addressing any questions or concerns professionally.
- Operate POS systems efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage multiple orders simultaneously while ensuring accuracy in drink preparation and serving.
- Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking practices.
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service delivery during busy hours.
- Uphold all food safety regulations related to food handling and beverage service.
Experience
- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, especially within the hospitality industry.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, making change, and measuring ingredients.
- Knowledge of food safety standards related to beverage service and food handling practices.
