Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate / Key Holder to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers while supporting the store’s daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for retail sales. Duties
- Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits of various vape products
- Engage customers with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Handle cashiering duties, including POS transactions, cash handling, and maintaining accurate cash register operations
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Support inventory management through stock replenishment and organization of merchandise
- Uphold store policies and ensure compliance with safety standards
Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, especially in vape or cannabis retail environments
- Demonstrated ability in merchandising, POS systems, and cash handling procedures
- Strong communication skills
- Proven track record of sales success, including upselling and product demonstrations
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
- Ability to work well within a team and independently while maintaining professionalism and positive attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy are required
- Previous supervisory experience is advantageous but not mandatory; leadership potential is valued
