Kenco Machinery Moving & Millwrights Ltd. is a well-established leader in machinery moving, rigging, and millwright services. We work with clients across multiple industries, providing safe and efficient solutions for machinery relocation, installation, and heavy equipment handling. We are currently looking to hire skilled and motivated Machinery Movers/Rigger to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
As a Machinery Mover, you will play a hands-on role in the safe and precise moving, rigging, and installation of industrial machinery and equipment. This is a physically demanding role that requires technical knowledge, problem-solving, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely load, move, position, and install heavy machinery and equipment.
- Operate forklifts, cranes, and rigging equipment.
- Assist in machinery dismantling and assembly.
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and customer site requirements.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors on job sites.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in machinery moving, rigging, or heavy equipment handling is an asset.
- Forklift, crane, or rigging certifications (preferred, but training may be provided).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments (lifting, climbing, confined spaces).
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Valid driver’s license (DZ or AZ license is an asset).
