Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver/Shipper to join our warehouse team. This role is shipping/receiving and organizing metal racks. Some physical strength is needed...a Licence is a bonus. Family business...good working conditions.
Duties
- Operate forklift, clamp truck, and order picker equipment safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
- Load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring proper handling and placement.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment .
- Maintain accurate records of shipped and received items, adhering to company procedures.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed to move items within the warehouse.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents or damage during operations.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Skills
- Warehouse experience an asset
- Proficiency in operating forklift, sit down and stand up.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Good attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Quiet environment
We are looking for someone on the younger side to stay and grow with our company. Hours 8 am to 4 pm...Fridays close at 3 pm. Parking and public transport close by.
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
