Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Automotive Body Man, Painter, and General Help to join our team. This versatile role involves repairing and restoring vehicles, applying paint finishes, and providing general assistance in the shop. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dealership or automotive repair environment, possess mechanical knowledge, and be comfortable using various hand and power tools. Responsibilities
- Repair and refinish vehicle bodies, including dent removal, panel replacement, and surface preparation
- Apply paint and coatings to vehicles with precision and attention to detail
- Assist with general shop duties such as cleaning, organizing tools, and preparing vehicles for repair
- Use hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment safely and effectively
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary to move parts or vehicles safely
- Support the team with miscellaneous tasks related to automotive repair and maintenance
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and safety regulations
Experience
- Dealership experience or background in automotive repair is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components is advantageous
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment required
- Prior experience as an automotive body man or painter is a plus
- Mechanic experience is beneficial but not mandatory
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
