Kiwi Motel
The Kiwi Motel is looking for an energetic, friendly, and reliable team member to join our hospitality team in Grand Bend. This is a hands-on role that includes guest services, bar service, food preparation, and occasional housekeeping support.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and helps create a fun and welcoming experience for our guests.
Start date ASAP until September
Responsibilities
- Welcoming and checking in guests
- Providing excellent customer service and answering guest questions
- Serving drinks and operating the motel bar
- Preparing and serving simple food items/snacks
- Handling payments and point-of-sale transactions
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of bar and guest areas
- Assisting with inventory and restocking supplies
- Supporting housekeeping with occasional room cleaning or laundry as needed
- Helping create a positive and upbeat atmosphere for guests
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional attitude
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Smart Serve certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Food handling experience is an asset
- Hospitality, restaurant, or bar experience preferred
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak season
- Team player with strong attention to detail
