Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled stone polisher to join our team. The ideal candidate with have a strong background in Quartz and natural stone polishing. With the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires attention to detail and problem solving skills. The polisher will be responsible for producing high-quality components and structures to meet our specifications and standards.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm- Overtime hours available as needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Polish, grind, and finish stone surfaces including granite, marble, quartz, and other natural or engineered stones
- Inspect stone slabs for imperfections and perform necessary corrections
- Operate polishing, grinding, and finishing tools and machinery safely and efficiently
- Assist with fabrication tasks such as edging, shaping, and cutting stone materials
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with fabrication and installation teams to meet project deadlines
- Handle and transport stone pieces as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in stone polishing, stone fabrication, or a related trade preferred
- Ability to operate polishing equipment and hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Reliable and punctual
