Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. This role involves coordinating transportation, managing warehouse distribution, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment across various platforms including e-commerce and traditional channels. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills, familiarity with ERP systems such as AS400 and Warehouse Management Systems, and experience with procurement, sourcing, and process improvement initiatives. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team focused on streamlining logistics processes and enhancing overall supply chain performance.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate warehouse distribution activities, including shipping & receiving, order picking, and materials management
- Manage transportation logistics
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in warehouse operations, packaging, and order processing
- Monitor supply chain metrics through data analysis to identify bottlenecks and develop solutions for continuous improvement
- Manage procurement activities related to materials sourcing, freight arrangements, and vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with safety standards when operating equipment such as forklifts during warehouse activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on demand planning, inventory control, and project execution within e-commerce platforms
- Manage, Track & Print orders as required.
- Prepare Custom Paperwork as required
- Attend/Participate in morning Departmental meetings to gather information needed to effectively plan shipments
- Proactively plan shipments by booking site appointments and ensure necessary contact information is available for the drivers
- Maintain receiving log and ensures timely entry of all transactions into receiving software, goal is within 2 hours of physical receipt.
- Assist in weekly cycle counts, Monthly & Year End Physical Inventory Counts
- Prepares and follows up on Freight Claims as required for damage caused by carriers
- Coordination with Drivers, scheduling delivery routes
- Overseeing skid storage in the plant and their designated area (scanned). Dealing with recycle program and emptying the glass bins.
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, supply chain management, or logistics coordination
- Knowledge of procurement processes, pricing strategies, and sourcing techniques
- Experience working with transportation management systems and shipping & receiving operations
- Strong data analysis skills for process improvement initiatives and demand forecasting
- Hands-on experience with warehouse equipment such as forklifts is preferred
- Background in materials management, order fulfillment, and inventory control within a warehouse environment is highly desirable
- Prior exposure to e-commerce logistics, packaging procedures, and order picking processes is advantageous

Pay: $30.00-$36.00 per hour
