Jiffy Auto Service is currently seeking a new full-time Automotive Service Advisor to join our staff at our Cornwall, ON location.
A Service Advisor is responsible for listening and taking note of our customer needs when it comes to the regular maintenance and/or repair of their vehicle.
As a member of our staff the Service Advisor will provide exceptional service to our customers, going above and beyond to guarantee each visit is an enjoyable experience, and will also:
- Welcome our walk-in customers upon their arrival
- Schedule service appointments
- Obtain comprehensive details on a vehicle’s symptoms and requirements and advise customers’ service decisions accordingly
- Prepare and relay work orders
- Rectify customer complaints/concerns in a courteous and professional manner
- Keep shop Manager informed of any problems regarding shop or customer related matters
- Keep records of all customer interactions and transactions.
We are looking for a candidate that has exceptional customer service skills, is dedicated, passionate, in addition to:
- Prior experience in a sales or customer service role involving automotive service (repair and preventative maintenance), tires, parts and accessories
- Outstanding sales expertise
- Automotive experience/background (an asset)
- Automotive repair background (an asset)
- Bilingual (an asset)
- Demonstrated computer skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Working knowledge of tools and equipment
- Superior organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence and aptitude to work unsupervised and independently
- Experience working in a team-based environment

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
