We’re on the hunt for a talented, friendly, and detail-obsessed Nail Technician to join our highly skilled team!

This is a commission-based role.
Commission breakdown:
60% of sales + tips to The Contractor ( You )
40% of sales to Claws Nail Studio
Supplies, equipment, marketing costs, rent, insurance all covered with 40% pay out to Claws Nail Studio.
What You’ll Do
- Create flawless manicures, pedicures, gel sets, acrylic sets, and nail art with precision and personality
- Maintain top-tier sanitation and cleanliness when cleaning tools and work space
- Book and effectively communicate with your clientele
- Connect with clients, understand their vibe, and recommend services or products that suit their needs
- Confidently upsell add-ons + retail to elevate the client experience (and your income!)
- Deliver an unforgettable client experience that keeps people coming back
- Keep simple and accurate notes on client preferences and services
- Maintain social media presence with photos of your work, insight to you as a nail tech, promos and salon daily life.
- Stay inspired by keeping up with new trends, education, and advanced techniques
What We’re Looking For
- Skilled in manicures, pedicures, gel, acrylic, Russian manicures, and/or nail art
- Minimum 1 year experience with acrylic and/or gel application.
- Strong communication + customer service skills — you genuinely enjoy talking to people
- Strong desire to learn new skills - training available for all contractors included
- Solid understanding of disinfection and sanitation protocols- Ontario health regulations
- Social media presence, you must have ability and desire to use social media to market yourself.
- Confidence in recommending services and products in a natural, non-pushy way
- Previous retail experience is a plus, but not required
- Education - MUST be certified in acrylic or gel.
