Staff Plus is hiring Printing Machine Operators for a full-time opportunity in Paris, ON, near Brantford. This role is best suited for someone with previous machine operation, production, manufacturing, or printing experience who is comfortable working 12-hour continental night shifts.
In this role, you will operate and monitor roll-to-roll printing equipment, complete machine set-ups, enter job information, check print quality, and support safe, continuous production.
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on experience
Shift: Night shift, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Schedule: 12-hour continental rotation, alternating 3-day and 4-day work weeks
Weekend Requirement: Includes every other weekend

What You’ll Do
- Operate and monitor roll-to-roll printing machines during production runs
- Set up machines according to job specifications, work orders, and production schedules
- Load large rolls of material using roll-lifting equipment
- Enter job parameters and production information using a computer interface
- Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments as needed
- Inspect printed output for colour, registration, quality, and visible defects
- Identify and report machine issues, print defects, or quality concerns
- Complete basic cleaning and maintenance of equipment
- Record production data and complete required documentation accurately
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
- Assist with loading, unloading, and material handling, including lifting up to 50 lbs when required
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating manufacturing, production, industrial, or printing machinery
- Experience with roll-to-roll printing, flexographic printing, or other printing equipment is an asset
- Experience with CNC or other computerized production equipment is an asset
- Basic computer skills for machine operation and data entry
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues
- Basic math skills for measurements, quantities, and tolerances
- Able to read and follow job orders, specifications, diagrams, and instructions
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs when required
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn

- Machine operation: 2 years
