Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will be responsibe for dishwashing, and general kitchen duties to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas
- Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with health standards
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations at all times
- Support the overall cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen environment to meet health standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well as part of a team
- Basic understanding of food preparation and kitchen operations is a plus
- Hospitality or food service experience is advantageous but not mandatory
