Job Overview:
We’re looking for a professional and dependable AZ-licensed Company Driver to operate our tractor-trailer. You’ll be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while representing a carrier that values safety, professionalism, and respect.
What You'll Do:
- Operate our company-owned truck to haul freight across assigned routes
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Handle and secure cargo properly (no-touch or some-touch depending on load)
- Maintain accurate driving logs and inspection records (ELD system in use)
- Communicate clearly with dispatch for load updates and routing
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies
- Assist with basic upkeep and cleanliness of the truck
Requirements:
- Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean abstract/CVOR
- Minimum 3 years of experience driving tractor-trailers
- Strong safety record and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on highways and local roads.
- Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on the truck as needed.
