THIS IS CANNABIS is a chain of licensed recreational cannabis retail stores located in Chilliwack, Abbotsford, and Whistler, whose mission is to provide a premium retail experience to the customers we serve using a highly informative, friendly, and professional approach. THIS IS CANNABIS is looking for candidates to join our retail family in our Chilliwack location who are passionate about providing excellent customer service and education on the licensed cannabis retail community.
THIS IS CANNABIS is currently seeking Full-time Budtender for our Chilliwack location who will be responsible for guiding customers to find the ideal product for the exact experience they are looking for.
This is a Full-time position . The position also requires flexibility to cover vacation time and occasional absences within the team, which may increase the number of weekly shifts as needed.

Qualifications / Requirements
- Knowledge of licensed cannabis retail products is a huge asset
- Knowledge of Cannabinoids and Terpenes
- Worked in a Cannabis related industry
- You have strong customer service skills
- You have demonstrated sales experience
- You have knowledge of POS systems
- You have strong communication, time management and problem-solving skills
- You have a positive attitude and are a team player
Responsibilities
- Drive sales and customer service excellence that is focused on educating customers on all cannabis products and accessories we carry
- Deliver a comfortable and professional shopping experience
- Ensure the proper execution of standard operating procedures
- Knowledge of each product within the complete range of new and current products available for purchase
- Use of a point of sale (POS) system in a retail setting
- Ensure the store is clean and organized
- Comply with the cannabis industry regulations
- Adhere to all policies and procedures to ensure the safety of self, team members and customers
- Diffuse difficult situations with customers as required
- Other duties as required
Terms of Employment
- Must be at least 19 years old
- Available positions for full-time and part-time
- Successful applicants must complete “Selling it Right” through the BC Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch if they have not already
Store hours are 9am-11pm every day so applicants must be able to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends as required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.25 per hour
