Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Kitchen Manager to oversee daily operations in our bustling restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food industry knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining efficient restaurant operations to provide a memorable dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, including interviewing and training new team members
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met
- Manage food handling procedures in compliance with safety regulations and food safety protocols
- Operate POS systems, handle order processing and cash handling.
- Ensure proper food storage, sanitation, and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively
- Lead restaurant management tasks including scheduling, supervising service staff, and maintaining customer satisfaction
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to uphold excellent hospitality standards
- Implement and enforce policies related to food safety, hygiene, and operational procedures
- Maintain a positive team environment through leadership and effective communication
Experience
- Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality leadership roles
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within the food service industry
- Supervising experience with team management responsibilities including interviewing and training staff
- Previous restaurant experience, as Kitchen Supervisor, Assistant Kitchen Manager or Kitchen Manager with minimum of 2 years experience.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations applicable to the food industry
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service and hospitality

All Candidates must be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, if required. Kitchen Manager schedule can range from 8hours-10 hours, approximately 48-50 hours per week.
