About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and motivated Supervised ABA Therapist to provide one-on-one Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) services to children and youth in East York. This is a part-time independent contractor position, ideal for someone looking to gain experience while making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with autism and other developmental needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) or Clinical Supervisor.
- Implement individualized behaviour intervention plans and skill acquisition programs.
- Collect accurate session data and complete session notes.
- Communicate regularly with the supervising clinician regarding client progress.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
- Attend supervision meetings and training as required.
Qualifications
- Completed or currently enrolled in a program related to Psychology, Behavioural Science, Autism and Behavioural Science, Child and Youth Care, Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with children, particularly individuals with autism or developmental disabilities, is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, patient, and eager to learn.
- Ability to work independently while following clinical direction.
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain one) is required
- CPR/First Aid certification is required
