Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Steel Detailer(Tekla only) to join our team in Canada. Based in our office, the Steel Detailer will play a vital role in creating precise structural designs and detailed drawings that support our project execution and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed steel shop drawings and fabrication drawings using industry-standard CAD software.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and fabricators to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Review design documents and schematics to produce comprehensive detailing packages.
- Coordinate with the project team to resolve design conflicts and optimize fabrication processes.
- Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions.
- Ensure all detailing work complies with safety standards and quality requirements.
- Support site teams during installation by providing clarifications on drawings as needed.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Steel Detailer or similar role within the construction or steel fabrication industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, NavisWorks, and other relevant CAD software.
- Strong understanding of structural steel components and construction processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
