Job Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Analytical Chemist. Your overall responsibilities will include the following;
- Design, develop, and validate analytical methods for small molecule analysis using techniques such as HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS, NMR, and FTIR.
- Perform routine and non-routine testing to ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot and optimize analytical methods to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support drug development and scale-up processes.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, SOPs, and documentation for regulatory submissions.
- Develop and validate analytical methods for API-GMP products
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in analytical chemistry techniques.
Position requirements:
- Analytical chemistry University degree
- Minimum 10 years industrial experience in analytical method development for APIs and chemical intermediates
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, time management skills, and good record-keeping ability
- Ability to investigate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and technical issues
- Excellent knowledge of QA/QC, ISO and GLP systems
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at one time
- Positive mental attitude is a must!
