DeerFields Clinic & Lifestyle Medicine Centre is searching for a qualified Clinical Assistant. In addition, to be outgoing, personable, and able to take on the challenges of a busy Clinic, an applicant must possess the following skills:
Required Skills:

· Ability to effectively follow assigned standard procedures

· Demonstrates the ability to use problem-solving skills.
· Passionate about personal learning, training, and ongoing development.
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Able to relay all messages as appropriate to other Clinic Team members
· Skillfully track & manage client referrals with supporting documentation
· Maintain cleanliness of reception area and kitchen
· Responsible for daily courier shipments both into and out of the Clinic
· Efficiently schedule and coordinate exams
· Manage Clinic and Medical Supplies
· Ability to maintain and update the EMR with key client information
· Ability to perform Clinical testing and support Naturopathic Doctor
· Manage Clinic functions as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
· Post-secondary education in related field
· Familiar with medical office terminology and software
· Minimum 2 years administrative experience in a medical practice
Additional Skills:
· Phlebotomy certificate or willingness to train
· Ability to initiate and manage intravenous lines or willingness to learn
