Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Handyman to join our team servicing the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding regions. This role offers an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals to apply their expertise in residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools. This position requires a commitment to quality workmanship, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Experience Required
- Service and repair commercial plumbing systems
- Drywall repairs, painting, and basic carpentry
- Door, lock, and hardware repairs
- Flooring, tiling, caulking, and general repairs
- Basic plumbing (faucets, toilets, fixtures, minor drain issues)
- Basic electrical (lights, fixtures, and troubleshooting)
- Respond to emergency service calls when required
- Provide clear recommendations and repair options to clients
- Complete work orders, photos, and reports using a smartphone
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed for installation or repairs
- Adhere to all safety protocols and building codes to maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of handyman experience
- Valid G Driver’s License with a clean record
- Strong English communication skills
- Reliable vehicle and own basic tools
- Ability to work independently and professionally
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude
- Reliable vehicle and plumbing tools/equipment
