Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Store Manager/Barista to oversee daily store operations while providing exceptional customer service for our client, Mashric located at 18 King Street East, Bolton, ON. This role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on barista duties, ensuring a welcoming environment and efficient store performance. Responsibilities
- Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Must have Barista skills and experience in the industry
- Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items in accordance with company standards
- Handle cash register transactions using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering procedures
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards, including proper food handling and food preparation techniques
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the store environment, adhering to health regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed
- Provide training and support to new staff on food service, serving, and POS operations
- Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Uphold company policies related to food safety, food handling, and customer service
Experience
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is preferred, demonstrating proficiency in serving, food preparation, and cash handling
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple responsibilities during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory management
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Proven leadership abilities or experience managing a team is a plus
