Duties and Responsibilities
- Take orders to replenish bin locations as necessary at various customer locations
- Pick orders from inventory at our warehouse to be delivered to customer locations
- Load and secure orders on delivery vehicle
- Drive delivery vehicle to and from customer locations
- Unload orders at customer locations and place items in proper bin locations
- Daily pre-trip inspections of delivery vehicle
- Assist as necessary with shipping and receiving duties in our warehouse
- Maintain delivery vehicle in a clean and presentable condition
Knowledge and Skills * Must have clean class 5 drivers abstract
- Must have experience driving a 1-ton truck/goose-neck trailer combination or similar
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing to gain access to sites
- Experience in inventory management would be an asset
- Experience operating forklift and skid steer would be an asset
- Counterbalanced/Vertical Mast Forklift training will be required
- Have a very high attention to detail and ability to operate accurately
- Demonstrate initiative, be proactive in problem solving
- Must be able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with management team, employees and customers
This will be a fulltime position 5 days a week, typically Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
