Position - warehouse Operator Location - North York Here is the job description. We are looking for a detailed orientated person who is eager to learn and can grasp the requirements quickly. This position is responsible for the picking and issuing from stock of all purchased and manufactured parts and kiting from pick lists, utilizing a computerized Inventory Control System. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Kiting assemblies and sub-assemblies using computer generated pick lists Issuing parts to the appropriate departments including handling of heavy items Monitoring and replenishment of floor stock items and consumable supplies Periodic cycle counting of stock and participating in the physical inventory Regular stock investigation and reconciliation; shortage monitoring Properly maintaining of physical locations, shelves, racks and bins Data entry as required and back up for receiving and shipping Customer service at the warehouse window Other duties appropriate to this position REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Minimum 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing warehouse environment Must be familiar with computerized inventory control systems and electronic components Physically fit and able to handle heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) Experience (certificate) of counterbalance forklift is preferable Proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent customer service skills
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
