'Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and proactive Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This person will be responsible for preparing shipments, coordinating transportation, and ensuring that all outgoing orders are processed accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process shipments according to company procedures.
- Coordinate with carriers, drivers, and internal departments.
- Create and manage shipping documents, labels, and packing lists.
- Maintain accurate records in our systems (Excel, Word, emails).
- Handle incoming and outgoing parcels.
- Maintain an organized and clean shipping area.
- Perform other related tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Good spoken and written English. (French is a plus)
- Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, and general email management.
- Ability to work in a team and follow established procedures.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift boxes when required (typically 20–40 lbs).
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
