Responsibilities
- Perform collision repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and refinishing to meet manufacturer standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to carry out repairs efficiently and accurately
- Assess vehicle damage and develop repair plans in collaboration with the service team
- Conduct heavy lifting as needed to move parts or vehicles safely within the shop
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations during repair processes
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding repair status and timelines
Requirements
- Valid license as an Auto Body Technician or equivalent certification
- Dealership experience is highly preferred, with a solid understanding of automotive repair procedures
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques
- Prior mechanic or automotive repair experience is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret repair estimates and technical instructions
