Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the office, providing exceptional care to our patients while supporting the dental team. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise and administrative skills, making it essential for the candidate to be organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about patient care.
Duties
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Orthodontic module would be a great asset.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive patient experience.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and practices.
- Familiarity with dental software systems, particularly Curve. Will train the right candidate.
- Experience in pediatrics or working with children is a plus.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and team members.
