Overview
We are a growing organization seeking a dedicated and motivated Application Engineering Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on supporting customers and internal teams with technical expertise related to pumping equipment and fluid handling systems. The ideal candidate is able to work both independently and collaboratively, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical application support for pumping equipment and fluid handling systems (phone and email)
- Review customer specifications and recommend appropriate pump solutions, including sizing and selection
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical documentation
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to pump performance and applications
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely order execution
- Maintain strong customer relationships through responsive and knowledgeable technical support
- Support continuous improvement of application processes and documentation
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pumping equipment, fluid handling, or a related industrial application role
- Strong understanding of pump selection, sizing, and system applications
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
