Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Wait Staff to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, possess strong food and beverage knowledge, and demonstrate excellent service skills. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment where teamwork and professionalism are valued. Prior experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with food safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Manage guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to uphold restaurant standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is a plus; familiarity with the food industry is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS, cashiering, and basic math skills for handling transactions
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary
- Hospitality mindset with a positive attitude and team-oriented approach

Pay: $17.60-$27.52 per hour
