QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in an accounting/office administrative role, is mandatory. Post-secondary diploma
or equivalent in office administration/accounting considered an asset;
Must have access to a vehicle and have a current driver’s licence. Must have the ability to travel from work location to other locations to conduct Branch business, such as visiting Ottawa City Hall for licences or permits, and the local Bank to complete financial transactions.
Must be willing to complete an Ottawa Police Level 2 Criminal Records And Judicial Matters Check;
Must be willing to attend the Branch Executive and General monthly meetings. Second Monday of the month for 2hrs, (6:30pm to 9:30pm) and the third Monday of each month for 2hrs. (6:30pm to 21:30pm) Timings are always approximate;
Intermediate accounting knowledge an asset. Experience with, or willingness to learn accounting
Sage and Ceridian payroll software; and
Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel)
Part-time hours - 20 per week, maximum
