Job Description:
Your Massage Wellness Clinic is seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team and work on Saturdays and Sundays. As a Massage therapist, you will provide exceptional massage therapy services to our diverse clientele, promoting relaxation, relieving muscle tension, and supporting overall well-being. We are looking for a dedicated individual who possesses excellent technical skills, a strong sense of professionalism, and a genuine passion for helping others.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough assessments of clients' needs, including their physical condition and specific concerns to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Administer various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal and postnatal, hot stone massages/cupping (preferred).
- Apply appropriate pressure and manipulation techniques to promote relaxation and alleviate muscle tension.
- Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy and provide guidance on post-treatment self-care practices to support their well-being.
- Uphold high standards of professionalism, including maintaining client confidentiality, adhering to ethical guidelines, and displaying excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including treatment notes, progress, and any relevant observations.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification or license as a Massage Therapist.
- 2,200 hours.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and effectively address their needs and concerns.
- Ability to adapt massage techniques and treatment plans to accommodate clients with specific health conditions or limitations.
- Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for helping others achieve optimal physical and mental well-being.
- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities to maintain a steady schedule and ensure timely service delivery.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality.
- CPR and first aid certification.
