Irrigation Technician Job Description
Ø Perform start-ups and shut downs of sprinkler systems, including operating a compressor.
Ø Detect and troubleshoot issues with commercial and residential irrigation systems.
Ø Understand sprinkler system layout and the different applications of materials.
Ø Program and set up Controllers and Rain Sensors.
Ø Manually adjust sprinklers and nozzles to suit.
Ø Ensure your truck is suited with the proper materials to complete the Work Orders for the day.
Ø Document materials used Work Orders, to be submitted the following morning.
Ø Maintain equipment and ensure use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Irrigation Technician Requirements
Ø 3-5 years experience (Willing to train an eagre applicant if you're a good fit!)
Ø Valid Driver’s license - must be able to provide driving abstract, if requested.
Ø CIT, CIC and/or CLIA Certifications are an asset
Ø Professional and friendly attitude are a must.
Ø Hours of operation are 7am to 5pm, earlier or later if required. Half day Saturdays during peak season, if required.
