Cabinet / Millwork Installer - Own Tools Required
Modersy Interior Ltd. is hiring 3 full-time Cabinet / Millwork Installers to join our team in Calgary.
We are a custom millwork company working on commercial and residential millwork projects, including cabinetry, panels, fixtures, doors, counters, shelving, and finished architectural millwork. We are looking for reliable installers who can work professionally on-site, read drawings, use their own tools, and complete clean, accurate installations.
This position is best suited for someone who already has installation experience and is ready to work.
Pay
$25 to $35 per hour, depending on experience, tools, skill level, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Install custom cabinets, millwork, panels, fixtures, doors, shelving, counters, and related components
- Read and follow shop drawings, site measurements, layouts, and installation details
- Use hand tools, power tools, levels, lasers, fasteners, adhesives, and installation hardware
- Complete accurate, clean, and professional installations on commercial and residential job sites
- Adjust doors, drawers, panels, fillers, gables, toe kicks, trims, and hardware as needed
- Work with the shop, project team, and site supervisors to complete installations properly
- Protect finished materials and maintain a clean work area
- Load, unload, move, and handle millwork carefully
- Identify site issues, measurement problems, missing parts, or damage and report them clearly
- Follow company safety procedures and job site requirements
Requirements
- Must have your own tools
- Previous cabinet, millwork, finish carpentry, or installation experience required
- Ability to read drawings, measurements, and installation details
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable transportation to the shop and job sites
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift, carry, and install millwork materials safely
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional on job sites
- Must be legally able to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with custom millwork installation
- Experience working on commercial construction sites
- Experience installing cabinets, wall panels, reception desks, counters, shelving, doors, and architectural millwork
- Valid driver’s licence
- CSTS, WHMIS, First Aid, forklift, or other safety certifications are an asset
Tools Required
Applicants must have their own basic installation tools, including hand tools and cordless tools required for cabinet and millwork installation.
Examples may include drill/impact driver, levels, tape measure, squares, clamps, hand tools, bits, blades, and related installation tools.
