Excel Projects is seeking a highly organized and motivated Crew Supervisor / Dispatch to coordinate field personnel and support the successful execution of pipeline and facility construction projects. This is an office-based position responsible for scheduling crews, coordinating project resources, tracking project progress, and serving as a key communication link between management, field personnel, clients, and subcontractors.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Pipeline/Facility construction, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch crews, equipment, and resources to project sites.
- Coordinate manpower requirements to ensure projects are staffed appropriately.
- Maintain regular communication with field supervisors, employees, clients, and management.
- Monitor project schedules and adjust crew assignments as required.
- Track project progress and provide status updates to management.
- Assist with project planning, logistics, and resource allocation.
- Ensure employee certifications, training, and safety requirements remain current.
- Support payroll, timesheet collection, and crew reporting processes.
- Coordinate travel, accommodations, and mobilization requirements when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and project documentation.
- Promote and support the company’s safety culture and operational standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Pipeline/Facility construction, heavy civil construction, or a related industry.
- Supervisory, dispatch, scheduling, or workforce coordination experience.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities.
- Strong understanding of construction operations and crew management.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience coordinating multiple crews and projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of Pipeline and Facility construction practices and industry regulations.
- Experience with project scheduling, workforce planning, and logistics coordination.
- Familiarity with timesheet management and project reporting.
