Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Contract Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent across various departments on a contractual basis. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong negotiation abilities, and a deep understanding of talent acquisition strategies. The Contract Recruiter will play a key role in supporting organizational growth by identifying and engaging qualified candidates through innovative sourcing techniques and effective candidate management.
Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates.
- Conduct thorough interviews to assess candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit, utilizing scorecards.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle from job posting, cold calling potential candidates, to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create targeted job descriptions.
- Utilize HR sourcing techniques including research, and lead generation.
- Maintain strong relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Support employee relations initiatives by providing timely feedback and facilitating communication between candidates and hiring teams.
- Stay updated on industry trends in recruiting, HR technology and best practices in talent acquisition.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in recruiting or talent acquisition roles with familiarity in HRIS systems .
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close offers effectively.
- Excellent interviewing skills with a focus on assessing both technical qualifications and cultural fit.
- Proficiency in sourcing techniques including research, and cold calling.
- Knowledge of applicant tracking systems and human resources information systems (HRIS).
- Effective communication skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers alike.
- Familiarity with HR functions such as employee relations, training & development, and workday onboarding processes is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple requisitions simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting. Pay: $18.00 per hour
