Food & Beverage Expeditor – Nita Lake Lodge Resort & Spa
Location: Whistler, BC | Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time
Nita Lake Lodge is a boutique resort in the heart of Whistler, known for exceptional hospitality, elevated dining experiences, and genuine guest connection. We’re currently seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Expeditor to join our Food & Beverage team.
As the key connection between the kitchen and dining room, the Expeditor plays an essential role in ensuring service runs smoothly, efficiently, and with exceptional attention to detail. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates confidently, and enjoys being at the center of a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and prioritize orders to ensure accurate and timely food delivery.
- Communicate closely with chefs and servers to maintain smooth service flow throughout each shift.
- Coordinate food delivery timing and ensure dishes are sent to the correct tables promptly.
- Review plating and presentation standards to maintain quality and consistency.
- Monitor ticket timing and support the team in preventing delays during busy service periods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pass area.
- Support opening, closing, and general operational duties as needed.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Calm, focused, and professional under pressure.
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is an asset.
- Serving It Right certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
