Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Traffic Control Person to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic safely through or around construction and work zones, as well as general labour or other duties as needed.
Responsibilities
- Direct and control traffic using stop/slow paddles, hand signals, and other approved traffic control devices
- Ensure work zones are safe, visible, and compliant with applicable traffic control regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite to promote safety and efficiency
- Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or equipment issues to supervisors immediately
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope
- Assist with other labour-related duties as directed
Qualifications
- Valid Traffic Control Person (TCP) certification [OR willing to obtain]
- Strong understanding of roadway safety procedures and hazard awareness
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods

Pay: $16.33-$23.00 per hour
