The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner. This role involves, serving customers, managing bar inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Drink Preparation: Mix and serve drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences. This includes crafting classic cocktails, creating new drinks, and pouring wine, beer, and other beverages.

Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and provide attentive service. Engage with customers to enhance their experience, answer questions about the menu, and make recommendations when appropriate.

Bar Management: Manage bar operations efficiently, including restocking and organizing bar supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and setting up and closing down the bar area.

Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and assist in managing bar stock to minimize waste and prevent shortages. Conduct regular inventory checks.

Cash Handling: Process payments accurately, handle cash, credit card transactions, and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system. Ensure that all transactions are recorded correctly and follow up on any discrepancies.

Compliance: Adhere to all local regulations regarding the serving of alcohol, including verifying the age of customers, refusing service to intoxicated individuals, and following health and safety guidelines.

Event Support: Assist in preparing and serving drinks for special events, private parties, and functions held within the establishment.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with servers, barbacks, and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth operation, especially during busy periods.

Problem Resolution: Handle customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally, escalating to management when necessary.
Requirements
Candidates with supervisory experience will be highly regarded and may be considered for team lead role.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Bartending school certification is an advantage.

Experience: 3 years previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is required.
