DAC Industrial Engines is looking for a Service Technician who knows their way around equipment and takes pride in getting the job done right the first time.
This is not an entry-level role. We’re looking for someone who can step in, diagnose issues
confidently, and work independently primarily in a shop setting.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Light construction equipment
- Material handling equipment & AWPs
- Industrial diesel and gas engines
- Generators and related systems
- A mix of customer equipment across multiple industries
What the Role Looks Like
- Majority of days within the shop. Potential for road calls when required.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections
- Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers
- Complete accurate service documentation
What You Bring
- Proven experience as a Service Technician (3-5 years’ experience preferred)
- Strong diagnostic ability
- Solid mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with material handling equipment (asset)
- Experience with aerial work platforms (boom lifts, scissor lifts, etc.) (asset)
- OEM training and certifications (asset)
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Ability to work as a team player
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work inside and/or outside in various weather.
