Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Scaffolding Superintendent to lead our scaffolding projects across Western Canada. Based in Canada, this role is vital in ensuring the successful execution of our construction initiatives aligned with our company's mission of safety and quality.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate scaffolding installation and dismantling activities on construction sites.
- Ensure all scaffolding work complies with safety standards and project specifications.
- Supervise scaffolding crews, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
- Collaborate with project managers to plan and schedule scaffolding operations.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues promptly.
- Maintain quality control throughout all scaffolding activities.
- Manage budgets related to scaffolding operations.
- Read blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate implementation.
Education & Experience
- Previous experience in Scaffolding, and in supervisory role is required
- Previous experience as a qualified tradesperson an asset
- Proven ability to work with large manpower requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to maintain the following safety tickets: CTS20, H2S Alive, Fall Protection, LSE
- Valid Drivers license is required

Working Conditions
- Ability to be exposed to various types of environments
- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb use hand tools and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Use of various shop equipment and trade-related hand tools
- Use of ladders or scaffolding
- Working in confined spaces
- Working with WHMIS products and materials
- Use of specialized PPE such as respirators, coveralls and safety glasses
- Ability to travel and go to different sites around Alberta

Pay: $55.00-$65.00 per hour
