Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment, utilizing various warehouse equipment and management systems. This role requires physical stamina, mechanical aptitude, and experience in warehouse operations to ensure efficient and safe order fulfillment.
Duties
- Select and pick customer orders using warehouse management system (WMS) and order picking tools
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and other material handling machinery safely and efficiently
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods during transportation within the warehouse
- Assist in shipping & receiving processes, verifying inventory accuracy and documentation
- Conduct heavy lifting as needed to move products or materials throughout the warehouse
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals and deadlines
- Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or construction environments preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, crane operation, or clamp trucks is a plus
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picking procedures
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and load/unload tasks regularly
- Experience with warehouse experience including load & unload activities is desirable
- Basic understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse management
- Prior experience working with heavy equipment operation or construction is advantageous

Pay: $20.00-$29.18 per hour
